BRIDGEPORT, Connecticut (WABC) — A 12-week-old husky pet has been discovered after it was taken throughout an armed theft in Connecticut.
The canine is a purple and tan male husky.
The 28-year-old proprietor was robbed and pistol-whipped in Bridgeport on Wednesday.
At roughly 1:15 a.m. he was strolling the pet on the intersection of Carrie Street and Hollister Avenue after which sat in his automobile with the pet ready to select up a relative on the East End.
The sufferer advised police that after a couple of minutes, three males dressed all in black walked as much as him.
He advised officers that two of the suspects pointed weapons at him and ordered him out of the automobile. The sufferer stated the suspects tried to steal his automobile, however couldn’t get it began.
The suspects then took the pet, stole $20 in money and two cell telephones, struck him within the head with one of many firearms, and fled north on Hollister Avenue in the direction of Stratford Avenue.
The sufferer suffered a laceration to his head, however refused medical remedy on the scene.
He stated the canine shouldn’t be micro-chipped but and has a big distinctive bump on its stomach.
The pet is being reunited with its household.
