Sixteen troopers died as an Army truck fell right into a gorge in North Sikkim on Friday morning.
The truck carrying the troopers skidded off the street in a mountainous space. The truck was a part of a three-vehicle convoy that had began from Chatten in direction of Thangu within the morning.
At Zema, the car skidded down a steep slope whereas negotiating a pointy flip, Army officers mentioned.
A rescue mission was instantly launched and 4 injured troopers have been evacuated.
