A 48-year-old scooterist was mowed down by a dashing truck close to the Landran bus cease on Thursday.

The sufferer was recognized as Lakhmir Singh, a resident of Landran village.

Investigating officer (IO) Sanjay Kumar stated Singh was ready for somebody on his Honda Activa on the roadside, when a truck hit him round 4pm. Singh fell on the street and his head was crushed underneath the truck’s tyre, killing him on the spot.
