In the previous couple of months, a number of incidents focusing on the Hindu minority within the Sindh village of Shaikh Bhirkio and the Tando Allahyar district have surfaced, Bitter Winter reported.

Human rights organisations and activists in Pakistan have referred to as for consideration on social media to the case of a 6-year-old Hindu woman nicknamed Ritu (actual title omitted for privateness causes), who was kidnapped and sexually abused by two 23-year-old Muslim males whereas she was enjoying outside within the village of Shaikh Bhirkio, Tando Allahyar district in Sindh province.

Ritu was discovered mendacity unconscious round six kilometres from her house, In an injured situation, she was taken to the native hospital. Although an arrest has been made, her dad and mom complained that the police had been unsympathetic and uncooperative, Bitter Winter reported.

In February, Muslim thugs attacked the house of a Hindu referred to as Neelo Kolhy with sticks and weapons, Bitter Winter reported, including that they fired on the household and Neelo Kolhy’s daughter, Soodhi, was injured.

A First Information Report (FIR) was filed with the police, however once more the officers based on Neelo Kolhy had been sluggish to behave and uncooperative, Bitter Winter reported.

On October 2022, a 10-year-old Hindu woman of Shaikh Bhirkio referred to as Meena Bajani was kidnapped whereas she was washing garments exterior of her house, with the aim of being transformed to Islam and married to a Muslim man. The police rescued the woman and positioned her in a shelter house.
