Shahjahanpur (UP), June 20

Around 13 folks have been injured when a personal double-decker bus overturned right here, police stated on Monday.

The incident passed off on Sunday evening when the bus was on its option to Punjab from Gonda, Superintendent of Police (metropolis) Akhand Pratap Singh stated.

“Around 13 passengers got seriously injured. They were admitted at the medical college,” Singh stated, including that the bus driver fled from the spot.

According to passengers, the motive force was reportedly driving the bus in an inebriated state.

In a tweet, the workplace of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated the CM has directed officers to make sure correct therapy to the injured individuals.
