Two sisters have been stripped and assaulted at their home within the limits of Sarjapur police station on the outskirts of Bengaluru.
It is alleged that the police refused to lodge a grievance for 2 days. It was solely after public outrage that the grievance was lodged.
The police on Wednesday arrested two accused males Ramakrishna Reddy and Sunil Kumar whereas a 3rd accused man Indramma is but to be arrested.
The incident happened in Doddabommasandra in Anekal taluk.
According to the grievance, one of many victims had taken a mortgage of Rs 1 lakh at 30 per cent curiosity for the training of her youngsters from Reddy, a resident of Neriga village close to Doddabommasandra.
However, she was requested to repay the complete mortgage quantity without delay. The villagers had brokered an settlement that when they promote their land, the sufferer would repay the mortgage quantity.
Despite the settlement, the accused barged into her home and assaulted and stripped the victims.
They had approached Sarjapur police station in reference to the incident. However, it’s alleged that Inspector Raghavendra Imbrapur refused to lodge the grievance.
The inspector had requested the victims to barter with the accused for a settlement.
Meanwhile, the assault movies went viral on social media creating public outrage towards the police and the accused males.
