ATLANTA — Deputies helped a lady in a psychological well being disaster who had threatened to leap from the highest of the Fulton County Courthouse Thursday afternoon.
Channel 2 Investigative Reporter Mark Winne talked to Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat, who described what occurred that led to a rescue Thursday evening.
Labat mentioned that round 4:30 p.m. his division was alerted to a lady who was presumably making an attempt to leap off of the roof of the courthouse.

“We are investigating how she got up there, but she was naked and hanging over the side of the building, and we immediately locked down the courthouse and proceeded to implement our rescue operation,” Labat mentioned.
Labat mentioned the courthouse was locked down, partially, to ensure nobody walked out the door about eight tales beneath the Central Ave. aspect of the courthouse. Atlanta police and Atlanta Fire Rescue have been notified, and the sheriff’s workplace established a command put up.
