Popular comedian-actor Raju Srivastava is “critical and on ventilator” within the intensive care unit (ICU) of the AIIMS, stated hospital sources on Thursday.
Following a coronary heart assault on Wednesday, the 58-year-old stand-up comedian was admitted to the hospital the place he underwent angioplasty.
“He is critical and on ventilator in the ICU,” the supply advised PTI.
Srivastava’s cousin Ashok Srivastava had on Wednesday night stated the comedian suffered a coronary heart assault whereas exercising.
“He was doing his routine exercise and while he was on the treadmill, he suddenly fell down. He suffered a heart attack and was immediately taken to the AIIMS hospital,” he had advised PTI, including that the actor-comedian’s spouse Shikha Srivastava had reached Delhi.
Srivastava, who has been lively within the leisure business since late Nineteen Eighties, obtained recognition after collaborating within the first season of stand-up comedy present ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ in 2005.
