Sukhcharn Singh, an Indian-origin cab driver who transported Britain’s Prince Harry and his spouse Meghan throughout a “near catastrophic car chase” with paparazzi in New York, has stated that the couple had been clearly nervous throughout the quick journey. 

Speaking to BBC News, the 37-year-old, who has the nickname Sonny, stated he had pushed a block when his taxi “got blocked by a garbage truck, and all of a sudden paparazzi came and started taking pictures”. He was then requested to drive the couple again to the police station.

Mr Singh stated the royals “looked nervous” about what was taking place, however the paparazzi weren’t being aggressive. Asked in regards to the spokesperson’s description of the chase, he stated it was “exaggerated”.

The incident concerned “a ring of highly aggressive paparazzi” in half a dozen automobiles with blacked out home windows, driving dangerously and placing the lives of the couple and Doria Ragland at risk, Harry’s spokesperson stated on Wednesday.

When requested, was Mr. Singh dazzled by his movie star passengers? He replied that “I have also picked up Keith Richards in my cab as well.”
