At least one particular person was killed and three others have been injured after a bomb planted in a motorbike exploded in Peshawar, Geo News reported on Thursday.

The explosion passed off when the motorbike was being repaired on Wednesday within the provincial capital. Peshawar is the sixth largest metropolis in Pakistan and the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

“The blast took place after a bomb planted in a motorcycle exploded. We are gathering information on the nature of the blast. Initial reports suggest that the blast occurred when the motorcycle was being repaired,” the police officers stated, in response to Geo News.

The incident occurred near a resort on Ring Road in Peshawar metropolis.

According to the police, the motorbike’s proprietor is amongst one of many three injured, and one of many injured is in crucial situation.

A 200-gram improvised explosive system (IED) was utilised within the explosion, in response to a press release from the bomb disposal staff. According to the authorities, family-related incidents often contain IED use, Geo News reported.
