A uncommon, all-white panda, which is believed to be the one one alive internationally right this moment, was not too long ago noticed in China’s Wolong National Nature Reserve, as per a report within the South China Morning Post. 

According to the report, the albino panda was most likely 5 – 6 years outdated and didn’t seem to have any well being points. The uncommon species was first noticed by the wildlife reserve’s cameras in April 2019, at an elevation of roughly 2,000 metres (6,561 ft). In May 2019, the Wolong National Nature Reserve launched the primary footage of the animal, which confirmed its white fur, claws and weird crimson eyes. 

According to CCTV footage, which is being shared extensively on social media, the reserve authorities have now shaped a specialised staff to keep watch over the albino panda. The scientists constructed and arrange motion-activated cameras to report the animal’s actions after researching its attainable routine and habits.

The viral clip exhibits the hue panda strolling on the snow and later interacting with different black and white pandas, at an altitude of about 2,600 metres above sea stage, as per a report from People’s Daily. Li Sheng, a researcher at Peking University’s School of Life Sciences mentioned that it was the “first albino giant panda recorded in the wild”. “It is still unclear whether its gene will be inherited and steadily passed on in the small panda population, and more follow-up research is needed,” he mentioned.

It is to be famous that big pandas are indigenous to China and are primarily discovered within the mountains of the provinces of Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu. According to China’s biodiversity evaluation, roughly 1,860 of them had been current within the wild in 2021.
