ICC Test Rankings : The second and final match of the two-Test series between India and West Indies will be played at Port of Spain on 20 July. The first match was won by the Indian team by an innings and 141 runs. This match will be remembered for the opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal, who made his international debut in this match and then surprised everyone by scoring a century in the very first match. Yashasvi Jaiswal’s innings was so big that Rohit Sharma’s century got lost somewhere in its glare and he could not talk much. But now the ICC has accepted it and Rohit Sharma’s ranking has improved tremendously. But it is another matter that Rishabh Pant has suffered due to this, he has gone down from the number which he had occupied for many months without playing.
Rohit Sharma enters top 10 in ICC Test rankings
New Test rankings have been released by the ICC. The second match between India and West Indies will be held from July 20, while the fourth match of the Ashes series i.e. England and Australia teams are coming face to face from July 19, meanwhile the ICC has released the new rankings. By the way, there have not been many changes in the ranking this time. But the biggest thing is that Team India captain Rohit Sharma has managed to make a comeback in the top 10. Talking about the latest rankings, Kane Williamson of New Zealand is occupying the number one chair with a rating of 883, he is sitting there without playing as if he will not move. At number two is Travis Head, whose rating is now 874. Babar Azam has been able to retain the number three position with a rating of 862. That is, there has been no change in the top 3 as compared to the previous week.

Steve Sthim is at number four with a rating of 855 and Marnus Labuschagne is at number five with a rating of 849. Which is at number six with the rating of Route 842. After this, Usman Khawaja is at number seven. Daryl Mitchell is at number eight and Damuth Karunaratne at number nine. Rishabh Pant was at number ten last week, but now Rohit Sharma has captured it. Rohit Sharma’s rating has increased from 729 to 751. Whereas Rishabh Pant has got a rating of 750. That is, there is a difference of only one rating point. Rohit Sharma played a brilliant inning of 103 runs in the first match against the West Indies. On the other hand, if we talk about Virat Kohli, he is at number 14. Last week his rating was 700, which has now increased to 711.
Ashwin number one in Test rankings, Ravindra Jadeja jumped three places
In the Test rankings, India’s Ravichandran Ashwin continues to occupy the number one position with a rating of 884. After this comes the number of Australia’s captain Pat Cummins. In the Test rankings for bowlers, Kagiso Rabada is at number three and James Anderson at number four. And Shaheen Afridi is sitting on the number five chair.
