The schedule of Asia Cup 2023 has been released. Pakistan Cricket Board is hosting this tournament. Although this tournament will be played in two countries. Apart from Pakistan, Sri Lanka will also host the Asia Cup. According to the released schedule, 4 matches will be played in Pakistan and 9 matches in Sri Lanka. Actually this tournament was earlier to be played in Pakistan, but due to BCCI’s decision not to tour Pakistan for this tournament, ACC changed the schedule. According to which the Indian team will not play a single match in Pakistan. The Asia Cup trophy was unveiled in Pakistan just a day after the tournament schedule.

Jai Shah is the President of the Asian Cricket Council. Asia Cup 2023 is being organized under the leadership of Jai Shah. His trophy is revealed before any major tournament. In which all the big people of the council or board are present. Something similar was done in the Asia Cup as well, but Jai Shah was not present there at the trophy reveal event of the Asia Cup. People like Pakistan Cricket Board Chief Zaka Ashraf, Mohammad Hafeez, Wahab Riaz, Waqar Younis were present at the trophy revealing event. But there was no sight from the side of ACC.
