Ingredients for making Mango Bread
- 2 or ripe mango puree and a few pieces
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup flour
- half teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- sour whey ½ cup
- 4 tablespoons chopped nuts (walnuts or almonds, raisins or cranberries)
Mango Bread Recipe
To make bread, first preheat the oven to 180°C and grease the bread loaf pan and keep it aside. Now add mango and melted butter and buttermilk i.e. whey in a big bowl and mix it well with a hand blender or electric blender. Add sugar and vanilla essence to this mixture.
Sieve together flour, baking soda and baking powder in a separate bowl. Pour the mango mixture in this bowl while mixing slowly. Keep in mind that do not mix it too fast, otherwise the bread will not rise. Finally add chopped nuts to the batter and mix once. Now pour the batter into the bread loaf pan and bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes. Check whether the bread is ready by inserting a toothpick before taking it out. When the bread is made, take it out and then after cooling down, cut it into slices.
