An eight-year-old boy died when his father’s loaded double-barrel gun unintentionally went off whereas he was enjoying with it.

The incident passed off on Monday night time within the Thakurganj space.

According to police, the boy’s father Fareed had an altercation along with his neighbour within the afternoon and had loaded his gun in a match of rage.

He, nevertheless, forgot to unload it and left it within the bed room.

The sufferer, Mohammad Ali, was enjoying along with his 11-year-old sister, Farhiya, within the bed room when he took up the gun which unintentionally went off. The bullet pierced via his hand and went straight into the fitting aspect of his chest.

His mom Asfiya and her neighbours rushed him to KGMU Trauma Centre the place docs pronounced him lifeless.

Station home officer (SHO), Thakurganj, Hari Shankar Chandra stated that Fareed was delivered to the police station for questioning.

“The gun has been seized and his licence will be revoked. We will see what further legal action can be taken in the case,” Chandra stated.
