The Border Security Force shot down a drone that entered Punjab’s Amritsar district from Pakistan, a BSF spokesperson mentioned on Saturday.

The BSF personnel fired on the drone after they observed it sneaking into Indian territory close to Daoke village, 34km southwest of Amritsar metropolis, round 7.45pm on Friday night.
“According to the drill, the personnel tried to intercept the suspected drone by firing at it. A bullet hit the drone resulting from which it fell. The space was cordoned off and police had been knowledgeable,” the spokesperson mentioned.
During the search within the Ajnala sub division, the BSF recovered a quadcopter, DJI Matrice 300 RTK (Chinese drone), in {a partially} broken situation.
A quadcopter is an unmanned aerial automobile with 4 rotors.
