According to The Independent, the King will put on his grandfather George VI’s Robes of State and Estate from the 1937 coronation, that are almost 90 years outdated and have been conserved and ready for the event. Camilla, however, will put on the late Queen’s crimson Robe of State which was made for Elizabeth II’s coronation in 1953, and has been conserved with changes. It contains a prepare of 5.5 metres.
