Risk and hardship allowance to armed forces private has been revised upwards, therefore eradicating a disparity vis-a vis personnel of the Central armed police forces (CAPF’s).

The CAPF’s have been drawing increased charges of ‘risk allowance’ than the armed forces personnel posted at identical location.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh made the announcement to revise the allowance on the Army Commanders’ Conference at present to deliver it at par with what’s paid to CAPF’s.
