A scholar of Chandigarh University (CU), Gharuan, was killed after a rushing SUV hit his bike close to Rurka village in Kharar on Sunday.
The police have registered a case below Sections 304-A, 279 and 427 of the IPC towards an unidentified driver of the SUV (Delhi registered Mahindra XUV-500).
Victim Maurya Attri, 20, a resident of Shivjot Enclave and a local of Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh, was a pc science scholar of Chandigarh University.
According to police, the complainant, sufferer’s uncle mentioned he had come to Gharuan for some work and whereas returning to Kharar, he was following Maurya in his automobile as Maurya was driving a motorbike. When Maurya reached close to Rurka village, a rushing SUV coming from the mistaken aspect hit his bike after which he fell on the street and sustained crucial accidents. The driver fled the spot.
He mentioned that he rushed Maurya to civil hospital the place medical doctors declared him useless. The police mentioned they’ve booked the unidentified SUV driver and additional probe is on.
