In a novel initiative, Federation University, Australia has collaborated with Chitkara University to ship a course on administration of water sources.

Harpreet Singh Kandra, tutorial and researcher, who’s spearheading this mission stated that these collaborations allow the internationalisation of curriculum, which is a mandate by the federal government as effectively. Dr Kandra is a recipient of a number of awards in Australia whereby he has contributed to social cohesion and ideas of sharing and caring.

Relevant to this mission is the vice-chancellor’s award for contributions to scholar studying at Federation University Australia, 2020, Dr Kandra stated, “The students are learning social, economic, environmental and management aspects of water management while also understanding the multidisciplinary, multicultural and interdisciplinary nature of this subject”.

Dr Kandra confused upon the importance of this program in gentle of Australia-India cooperation and the latest signing of Free commerce settlement between the 2 nations. He congratulated all collaborators on this initiative in wake of our National Education Policy of 2020.
