Dutch police arrested a person on suspicion of drunk driving and had been shocked to find that his driving licence has the identify ‘Boris Johnson’. The doc was made in Ukraine and had an official portrait of the previous UK Prime Minister alongside along with his right date of delivery, in line with a report in The Telegraph. The licence was issued in 2019 and legitimate till the 12 months 3000. Police spokesman Thijs Damstra was quoted as saying by the outlet that the invention was made by officers investigating a crash shortly after midnight on Sunday.

The automobile was deserted however officers had been later informed that the motive force was standing close by on the bridge.

“The person could not identify himself and refused to undertake a breathanalyser test,” Mr Damstra informed information company AFP.

The man, aged 35, was from the small city of Zuidhorn west of Groningen. After his arrest, the police searched his automobile.

“Inside, police found a fake driver’s licence belonging to Boris Johnson,” Mr Damstra mentioned.

“Unfortunately for this person, we did not fall for his forgery,” Groningen police mentioned on its Instagram account, as per The Telegraph report.

Police couldn’t say the place the solid doc was made however public broadcaster NOS journalist and former Russia correspondent Kysia Hekster, in a tweet printed by the NOS, mentioned that pretend driver’s licences may simple be purchased in vacationer outlets in Ukraine. 

Mr Damstra added, “As far as I’m aware, the real Mr Boris Johnson was not in the Netherlands at the time.”
