To work out a framework for the first-ever multi-partisan National Legislators’ Conference (NLC), which is being organised by Pune-based MIT School of Government, a round-table dialogue was held right here at the moment.
Among those that participated have been former Speakers of the Lok Sabha Sumitra Mahajan, Meira Kumar and Shivraj Patil. It was determined to carry the three-day “carnival of democracy” starting June 16, 2023, in Mumbai.
The contributors felt that the convention would strengthen the material of democracy and make it a strong discussion board for good governance, the organisers mentioned in an announcement, including that 4,000 legislators representing varied events from throughout the nation have been anticipated to attend the occasion.

The dialogue was attended by over 15 Speakers/Chairpersons of Legislative Assemblies and Councils from Maharashtra, UP, Andhra Pradesh, Bengal, Rajasthan Bihar and Bihar.
