Good Samaritans rapidly jumped into motion.
Randi Wahn and her husband, Matthew nonetheless cannot consider they walked out of their white Volvo with out a scratch.
‘It’s a miracle that each of us weren’t damage in any respect,” she said.
On Sunday afternoon, the couple was stopped at a red light on 11th Ave at West 42nd Street. Matthew was behind the wheel. A Black BMW SUV then landed on top of their car.
“His wheel climbed up on high of our automotive and he was lodged there,” Matthew said.
Good Samaritan Ben Arias jumped into action, helping the couple as well as the occupants of the BMW get out.
As firefighters tried to help and passenger of the SUV, the driver hit the gas, moving the truck forward, causing it to fall on top of a firefighter, identified as Ryan Warnock.
Once again, Good Samaritans rushed into the lift the truck.
Warnock was a part of the Hudson River boat rescue last week. He is recovering in the hospital with leg injuries, but so many are thankful for his bravery.
The driver of the BMW and his son are each okay, however how the accident occurred remains to be beneath investigation.
