During the press conference at the Kannod police station, it was told that on July 17, the Kannod police had received information from the hospital that the body of an unknown person had arrived. When the police reached the hospital and investigated, the body of the deceased youth was identified as 25-year-old Anil’s father Vikram caste Korku age station Kannod, living in Tubel Pura. Post mortem of the dead body was done. In the report, the cause of death was said to be hit on the head with a sharp object.

When the police registered a case of murder against unknown accused and started searching, his suspicion fell on Anil’s friend Deepak Kalwar. Police interrogated Deepak Singh Rajput and his other accomplice Sumer alias Sonu father Shyam Rajput age 33 years, Vishal father Ramsingh Rajput age in custody. On being strictly interrogated, all three confessed that they had killed Anil.
