Investigating officer sub-inspector Kamal Taneja mentioned raids had been carried out on the home and cycle store of Manjit following info that he and his brother introduced liquor from Chandigarh for a low value and offered it in Zirakpur at a better price.
As many as 108 bottles had been present in Manjit’s store and 72 in his home. During interrogation, the trio revealed that they operated beneath the guise of Bhupi Rana gang members.
