Moving additional with the institution of a brand new industrial space in Sector 101, the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) has introduced the compensation charges for land acquisition.

The authority plans to amass round 489 acres in 5 villages of Mohali district – Dhurali, Chau Majra, Saini Majra, Raipur Khurd and Manouli.

GMADA had began the method of land acquisition for Sector 101 on February 15, 2021. The new industrial space has been categorised underneath “orange” class, the place industries with air pollution index rating of 41 to 59 shall be arrange.

Acquisition as per new land pooling coverage

The land pooling coverage for improvement of commercial sectors was launched by the state authorities in July 2021. Earlier, land pooling was just for residential housing schemes.
