The authority plans to amass round 489 acres in 5 villages of Mohali district – Dhurali, Chau Majra, Saini Majra, Raipur Khurd and Manouli.
At 3.53 crore per acre, landowners in Raipur Khurd will obtain the very best compensation, whereas these in Dhurali village will get the bottom – 3.07 crore per acre.
A senior official of GMADA mentioned, “The landowners have 120 days to decide whether to opt for the compensation or land pooling. The compensation has been announced as per the existing collector rate and land depending upon the location.”

GMADA had began the method of land acquisition for Sector 101 on February 15, 2021. The new industrial space has been categorised underneath “orange” class, the place industries with air pollution index rating of 41 to 59 shall be arrange.
Acquisition as per new land pooling coverage
The land pooling coverage for improvement of commercial sectors was launched by the state authorities in July 2021. Earlier, land pooling was just for residential housing schemes.
