He said that a statue of Lord Parshuram will also be installed in a park in Karnal.
The chief minister also announced renaming of a chowk in Karnal after Bhai Mati Das-Sati Das Chhibber and that a statue of Bhagwan Parshuram will also be installed in a park in the city.
Meanwhile, the Karnal police detained some MBBS students protesting against the bond policy, when they tried to come near the venue. They were released after the programme.
BJP MP Arvind Sharma pitches for Brahmin CM
BJP MP from Rohtak Arvind Sharma on Sunday said that the next chief minister in the state should be from the Brahmin community.
“I am not saying that Khattarji should be replaced. He may remain CM for the next 10 years, but it is my personal opinion and request to the party high command that the next CM after Khattar should be from Brahmin community,” Sharma mentioned. He had earlier claimed that 12-15 per cent of the state’s inhabitants is from the Brahmin group.
CMs not selected social media, says Khattar
Reacting to the rumors on the social media relating to the change of guard in Haryana, the chief minister mentioned that the social media doesn’t resolve the chief ministers.
