Indian batsman Suryakumar Yadav was on Wednesday dominated out of the three-match T20I sequence in opposition to Sri Lanka as a consequence of a hairline fracture in his hand. The T20I sequence between India and Sri Lanka begins in Lucknow on Thursday and a BCCI supply confirmed Suryakumar Yadav’s damage to PTI forward of the board’s official assertion.

Yadav, who was adjudged the Player of the Series within the final T20I in opposition to West Indies, is the second Indian after pacer Deepak Chahar to be dominated out of the sequence in opposition to Sri Lanka. Chahar was dominated out of the matches in Lucknow and Dharamsala as a consequence of a hamstring damage.

“Deepak suffered a right quadriceps injury while bowling, while Suryakumar suffered a hairline fracture while fielding in the third and final T20I match against West Indies,” BCCI secretary Jay Shah stated in an announcement. “He will now go to the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore to recover from his injury,” he added.
