India and Iran held Foreign Office Consultations on Thursday throughout which each side mentioned bilateral relations, together with political, financial, cultural and consular engagement.
The Iranian delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ali Bagheri Kani and the Indian delegation by Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra.
During the delegation-level talks, the 2 sides reiterated their dedication to proceed cooperation for the event of the Shahid Behesti terminal of the Chabahar Port, acknowledged a Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) launch.
The two sides exchanged views on regional and worldwide points, together with Afghanistan. Kani briefed the Foreign Secretary on points associated to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
