Ahead of the assembly, India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Ruchira Kamboj, in a letter to Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, requested {that a} idea word supposed to information the discussions on the subject be circulated as a doc of the Security Council.

“Terrorism in all its forms and manifestations must be condemned. There cannot be an exception or justification for any act of terrorism, regardless of its motivation and wherever, whenever and by whosoever committed. The era of classifying terrorists as “bad”, “not so bad” or “good” on the idea of political comfort should finish instantly.”

It mentioned that current and rising threats name for a renewed collective method to terrorism.
