India on Monday registered robust protest with senior US diplomat over vandalism at the Indian consulate general in San Francisco throughout demonstration by Khalistan supporters, individuals accustomed to matter mentioned.

The assault on Indian consulate in San Francisco comes hours after pro-Khalistani supporters pulled down the Indian tricolour flying atop the Indian excessive fee in London amid the Punjab Police initiating crackdown towards radical preacher Amritpal Singh.

India registered a robust protest with the ministry of exterior affairs saying tat the senior-most UK diplomat within the nationwide capital was summoned on Sunday. “An explanation was demanded for the complete absence of the British security that allowed these elements to enter the high commission premises. She was reminded in this regard of the basic obligations of the UK government under the Vienna Convention,” the MEA mentioned in a press release.
