Riya Kumari, reportedly an actress from Jharkhand, was shot useless at level clean vary on Wednesday on a freeway in West Bengal.

As reported by her husband Prakash Kumar, who claimed himself to be a movie producer from Jharkhand, the incident befell at round 6 am whereas they had been travelling to Kolkata from Ranchi.

Prakash Kumar was driving the car and the couple’s three-year-old daughter was additionally travelling with them.

According to his assertion given to the police, he stopped the car close to Mahishrekha bridge at Bagnan underneath Uluberia sub-division of Howrah district to take care of nature’s name.

Then, three miscreants with firearms approached them with the intention of robbing them of cash and different valuables.

When the couple tried to withstand, one of many miscreants shot at Riya from point-blank vary and he or she instantly fell down bleeding profusely.

The miscreants, as per Prakash Kumar’s assertion, fled from the spot and he drove to a close-by locality and knowledgeable the locals.

The police reached the spot and instantly rushed Riya to the Uluberia sub-division hospital.

However, she had died by then.
