Chamba. A BSF jawan was burnt alive after his car caught fire in Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba district. But, now there has been a big disclosure in this matter. The jawan whose death had come to the fore, has been found alive. Chamba Police has arrested the jawan from Bangalore, Karnataka. Police has brought the accused to Chamba after catching them. He will be produced in the court on Friday.

According to the information, this incident is of 29th June. BSF jawan Amit Rana (33) son Raghuveer Singh is a resident of Genhi Lagod village of Noorpur (Kangra). On June 29, when Amit was going from Nurpur to Chamba, his car caught fire while passing near Chuwadi’s jot. He didn’t get a chance to get out. Information about the incident was received in the morning and a bone was recovered from the car. The relatives had performed the last rites of Amit considering it as a piece of his body.
When the police investigated the matter, the suspicion deepened. Because where the accident happened, there was a lot of space and usually in case of fire in the car, no person burns completely and almost the entire body structure is saved. On this, the suspicion of the police increased and they investigated the matter. CCTV footage of Chamba bus stand was also taken out, in which the jawan was seen. Later, the whole matter was revealed through call details and online shopping.

While some are talking about drowning in debt, some say that a drug case was registered against Amit. That’s why he took this step to escape. Amit’s wife is working in Himachal Police.
