Ahead of the municipal elections, inauguration of static compactors on the bottom of Vardhman Mills on Chandigarh highway by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA (Ludhiana East) Daljit Bhola Grewal on Friday triggered a credit score conflict between Congress and AAP.

Former Congress MLA Sanjay Talwar accused Grewal of inaugurating the venture which was accredited through the tenure of earlier Congress authorities within the state. However, Grewal mentioned he bought the venture accomplished together with his efforts.

The compactors have been put in by the Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA) at a price of 1.45-crore. Compactors are put in to cease open dumping of rubbish at dump websites and compress waste, making it simpler to move the identical.

Talwar mentioned, “Grewal who ahead of assembly elections criticized Congress for not taking up development work is now inaugurating the projects approved by Congress only.
