The ruling NDA’s presidential candidate Droupadi Murmu on Thursday bagged 100 per cent of all legitimate votes polled in three states—Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim and Nagaland with huge proof of cross-voting in her favour throughout main states.

Interestingly, Murmu obtained the bottom votes in Kerala—one out of 140 legitimate votes polled, adopted by Punjab (8 out of 114 legitimate votes), Telangana (3 out of 117 legitimate votes) and Delhi (8 out of 68 legitimate votes).

In Assam, Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Congress dominated Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Jharkhand and Rajasthan, there was proof of cross-voting in Murmu’s favour.

In Bihar, as towards NDA’s 127 MLAs, Murmu polled 133 of the 241 legitimate votes; in Chhattisgarh she polled 21 votes though the BJP has solely 14 MLAs within the meeting; in UP as towards NDA’s 277 MLAs, Murmu obtained 287 votes.

Likewise in Rajasthan, Murmu obtained 75 votes.

In Karnataka, Murmu bagged 150 votes of the 224 legitimate votes polled, with JDS backing her. The BJP energy within the state meeting is 122 MLAs.
