NRI wing of the Mohali police on Monday booked the Australian NRI groom, his mom, and father on prices for refusing to get married after doing engagement.

According to police, the NRI Deepanshu Dhiman his mom Rajinder Kaur, and father Prem Chand have been booked following the grievance of bride Amandeep Kaur.

In her grievance, Amandeep Kaur alleged that Deepanshu received engaged in February 2018 and after an alternate of rings, the lady’s mother and father provided 7100 as blessings (shagan) and 3100 from numerous kin. Thereafter he went to Australia on examine visa.

Meanwhile, Deepanshu’s mother and father took Amandeep to varied household capabilities introducing her as their daughter-in-law. Then in November 2021 one girl claimed to be Simranjit Kaur stated that she and Deepanshu live in relation and he is not going to get married to Amandeep.

NRI wing after taking the authorized opinion booked the three on breach of belief and fraud.
