The native police on Friday booked an armyman for allegedly raping a 30-year-old married girl.

The accused, who can be married, was recognized as Gurpreet Singh.

According to the girl, who has two kids, the accused in 2019 had made her objectionable movies and blackmailed her into creating bodily relations with him.

She had lodged a criticism with Baltana police again then, however withdrew it later after a compromise with the accused.

However, on Friday, Gurpreet reached her home and raped her, whereas her husband, who can be serving within the military, was away for obligation and her kids have been at their teaching class.
