The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday filed a cost sheet towards three individuals, together with a Myanmar nationwide, in a case of extortion by members of banned terror outfits in Manipur.

The cost sheet was filed within the NIA Special Court, Imphal, towards the three cadres of the proscribed terrorist organisations, specifically PRA (People’s Revolutionary Army), KCP (Kangleipak Communist Party), PREPAK (People’s Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak) and UNLF (United National Liberation Front), amongst others.

The federal company had registered the suo motu case within the matter on 9 March 2022.
