The Puducherry unit of Bharatiya Janata Party ,BJP) on Monday mentioned those that had been hoarding black cash and evading revenue tax alone raised the banner of revolt in opposition to the Centre’ transfer to fight corruption and faux foreign money, by way of demonetisation.
President of Puducherry unit of BJP, V Saminathan in a launch mentioned that those that had been truthfully paying revenue tax had been all reward for Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s initiatives.
“Only those hiding black money were up in arms against it,” he alleged.
Saminathan additional said that one was at a loss to grasp the “dual stance” the Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy was adopting in his response to the demonetisation measure.
“While holding agitations with the DMK against demonetisation in Puducherry, Narayanasamy has also been showering praises on the Center on various counts during his meeting with the Central Ministers in Delhi,” he alleged.
The BJP has launched a drive to gather signatures from not lower than one lakh folks within the Union Territory to enlist their cooperation for the present campaign by the Center in opposition to black cash.
The drive which commenced yesterday would go on until December 10, he mentioned.
