Top political leaders on Thursday prolonged condolences over the demise of 5 military troopers in a terrorist assault in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge strongly condemned the fear assault on the military automobile carrying the troopers and condoled their demise saying “We are united against terrorism”.

Five Army personnel had been killed and one other was significantly injured after their automobile caught hearth following a terrorist assault in Poonch, the Army stated in an announcement. The deceased Army troopers had been from a Rashtriya Rifles unit deployed for counterterror operations.
