JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WVLT) – During a pre-game efficiency at David Crockett High School Friday night time, a skydiver was injured and died, in response to Washington County Schools Superintendent Jerry Boyd.

The recreation was set to begin at 7 p.m. between David Crockett and Daniel Boone for the Musket Bowl, an annual Washington Co. rivalry recreation, however was delayed following the incident.

School and district directors made the choice to proceed with the soccer recreation, in response to Boyd.

“Our deepest sympathies go out to the family of the injured skydiver that has passed away,” Boyd mentioned. “We ask that everyone keep the family in their thoughts and prayers as they deal with the loss of a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.”

Boyd mentioned that extra psychological well being help professionals will likely be at each excessive colleges on Monday, Oct. 24 to assist each college students and employees in want.
