Santosh Kumar Gupta /Chhapra, A sensational case of murder of a woman by strangulation has come to light in Tezpurwa village under Madhaura police station area of ​​Saran. The dead body of the woman has been recovered from Banswadi near the village. The deceased woman has been identified as Chanda Kunwar, 65-year-old wife of late Ram Iqbal Singh, resident of Tejpurwa Tola village under Madhaura police station of the district. On receiving the information, the police reached after taking possession of the body and sent it to Chhapra Sadar Hospital for post-mortem, but have started investigating the matter.

The pallu of the saree was tied around the woman’s neck.

In relation to the incident, it is being told that last evening a person had come to his house to buy bamboo. With whom the woman went to Banswadi, but did not return till night. Then the family members started searching for him, but nothing could be found. In the morning, when people reached Banswadi while searching, the body of the woman was found there. The pallu of the saree is tied around the woman’s neck.

Seeing this, there was chaos among the family members. Sanjay Singh, a relative of the deceased, told that on the day of the incident, a person dressed as Bol Bam reached home to buy bamboo. Chanda Kunwar went to Banswadi to deliver bamboo but did not return from there. The next day when people started searching, their dead body was found in Baswari itself.

Reality will come out after identification of unknown person

After getting the dead body of the woman, the villagers informed the police. After the information, the police of the local police station reached the spot, took the dead body in possession and sent it to Chhapra Sadar Hospital for postmortem. In this case, an FIR has been lodged by the family members against the unknown for strangulation to death.

On the other hand, SP Gaurav Mangla told that the police has registered an FIR in this matter and the matter is being investigated. The reality of the incident will come to the fore after the identity of the unknown person. Currently the post mortem report is awaited.
