Here the thieves entered the house of a software engineer to steal, but they did not find anything worth stealing there. Saddened by this, the thieves left five hundred rupees at the engineer’s house. The police team of North Rohini Police Station received information about a theft in Sector 8 of Rohini on July 19 at around 8 am.

According to a Times of India report, the complainant, an 80-year-old man and his wife had left their home in Gurgaon to meet their son. On Friday morning, a neighbor called him and informed about the theft in his house. On returning home, the victim found that the lock of the main gate was broken. However, no valuables were kept in the house. The cupboards of the house were also safe and sound. The surprising thing in this was that he got a note of 500 rupees from the spot.

This incident is similar to the previous incident in June when two robbers tried to rob a couple but only Rs 20 was recovered from them. Frustrated for missing valuables, one of the robbers handed over a Rs 100 note to the couple before fleeing the scene. Later, after scanning the footage from at least 200 cameras, the police arrested both the robbers.

Two unidentified motorcycle-borne persons allegedly looted Rs 23,000 from a medical shop in Rohini, police said on Sunday. The incident took place on Saturday in Sector 7 of Rohini. According to the police, the two accused shot at a window of the store before fleeing with the stolen money.

A police officer said, ‘North Rohini police station received information about the incident at around 10.48 pm on Saturday night. He said that the investigation is going on and a case has been registered to nab the accused.
