Two males have been washed away within the rain-swollen water our bodies in separate incidents that occurred in Bhiwandi taluka of Maharashtra’s Thane district, officers mentioned on Saturday.

The first incident befell on Thursday night time, when 35-year-old Pintya Pandarinath Jadhav, a resident of Padgha within the taluka, had gone for fishing close to a flooded steam. During the exercise, he fell into the water and obtained washed away, a fireplace brigade official mentioned.
