Kampala, Uganda:

Ugandan police mentioned Monday that 20 individuals had been arrested for suspected collaboration with the infamous militia group blamed for final week’s assault on a college close to the border with Democratic Republic of Congo.

“Twenty arrests have been made of suspected collaborators, suspected ADF collaborators,” police spokesman Fred Enanga advised a press convention, referring to the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) primarily based within the DRC.

“We also have the head teacher and the director of school as part of our inquiries. They need to give us answers to certain questions,” he added, with out making clear if they’d been arrested.

Mr Enanga mentioned the loss of life rely from the grisly raid on the Lhubiriha Secondary School in Mpondwe in a distant space of western Uganda late on Friday was 42, together with 37 college students.

Another six individuals had been injured and stay in hospital, he added.
