PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — An area man has damaged the document for the heaviest pumpkin ever grown in Pennsylvania.

The huge pumpkin was grown by Erik Sunstrom and his household in Harrison City.

The pumpkin weighs in at 2,405 lbs. and took dwelling the title of ‘King Pumpkin’ on the Barnesville Pumpkin Festival in Ohio on Wednesday.

Sunstrom informed The Intelligencer that his household spent 30 hours per week over the previous month caring for it forward of the competition.

The pumpkin beat the earlier document holder by simply 46 kilos.
