HUDSON, Fla. — Two uncommon orange lobsters have been delivered to a seafood market in Hudson.

Lori Nilon, a supervisor at Whitney’s Seafood Market, mentioned staff found the lobsters of their weekly cargo.

“This shipment of lobsters that we get…they come from Maine and they’re called water lobsters. We just noticed these two lobsters come in one day with our shipment and they’re odd balls,” mentioned Lori Nilon.

The probabilities of discovering an orange lobster are mentioned to be one in 30 million.

The Clearwater Marine Aquarium can be taking the 2 lobsters to maintain on the aquarium. Their shiny, distinctive coloring makes them enticing to predators, together with eels, crabs, seals and rock gunnels.

In July, Red Lobster introduced its restaurant in Hollywood, Florida found a shiny orange lobster. Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach welcomed the lobster into its aquarium. In August, Red Lobster found one other orange lobster at one in all its eating places in Meridian, Mississippi.

Nilon is worked up to see the lobsters go to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium for visitors to see.

“They’re going to outlive their life there. They’re not going to be eaten, not going to be steamed. They’re going to live their life there and I’m going to go visit them,” mentioned Nilon.

Once the lobsters arrive on the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, employees will quarantine the lobsters and monitor them. The lobsters will ultimately be out there for visitors to see.
