The Chandigarh training division has prolonged winter holidays until January 21 for college students as much as Class 8 in authorities and government-aided colleges.

An order to this impact was issued by the director, faculty training, on Friday owing to the chilly and foggy circumstances within the area.

For Classes 9 to 12, the faculties already reopened on January 9, however lessons are beginning at 9 am. Earlier the training division had prolonged the winter break for all lessons until January 8.

The Haryana authorities has additionally prolonged the winter holidays in colleges until January 21.

As per the official order, all authorities and personal colleges within the state, together with these in Panchkula, will stay closed until January 21 and reopen on January 23 (Monday).

However, in view of board exams for Classes 10 and 12, their lessons will resume as scheduled earlier.
