A 30-year-old girl was tied utilizing ropes, thrashed with sticks, and paraded in public for allegedly leaving her husband for one more man in a village in Madhya Pradesh’s Ratlam district, police stated on Sunday.
Following the incident on Saturday, the girl was admitted to a hospital and present process therapy, an official stated.
Police officer Shivmangal Singh Sengar stated the girl had left the house of her husband and began dwelling with one other man someday again.
She was persuaded by relations and villagers to return to her husband however she was not prepared, he stated.
After she left the village with one other man, her husband and his relations too shifted, the police officer stated.
“However, after her husband and his family members left the village, the woman returned and started living in their vacant home,” he stated, including this angered villagers who referred to as her husband on Saturday.
He and 7 different males allegedly tied the girl with ropes and thrashed her with sticks and likewise paraded her within the village.
The girl was freed by a police staff and admitted to the civil hospital from the place she was referred to the district hospital in Ratlam, Sengar stated.
A case has been registered in opposition to eight individuals, together with the girl’s husband, underneath related sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and additional investigation is on, he added.
