A 28-year-old youth was attacked with rods and stones after he tried to avoid wasting a person who was being overwhelmed up by a gaggle in Amravati Enclave on Thursday evening.

The sufferer, Aman Grover of Amravati Enclave, informed the police that he had stepped out to purchase meals from an eatery and had taken his canines alongside.

On the best way, he noticed a gaggle of youths assaulting a person. When he intervened to avoid wasting the person, the attackers turned on him and began manhandling him. One of them smashed a beer bottle on the street to assault him, whereas the others took out sticks from their Toyota Innova.

To save himself, he ran again to his automotive, however the accused vandalized his automotive with stones and sticks. The accused then dragged him out of the automotive and thrashed him. As onlookers gathered, they fled within the Innova after threatening to kill him.

Police have registered a case for assault and legal intimidation on the Pinjore police station. No arrests have been made up to now.
